With the arrival of winter, the weather cools and the food sources in the environment decrease. Therefore, when winter comes, some animals migrate to hot places, some store food for their winter, and some hibernate.
Hibernation or hibernation is a kind of long-term inactivity similar to sleep. In this process, the body temperature of the creature decreases, the number of heart beats decreases, the breathing rate slows down and the metabolic rate decreases to the lowest level.
Hibernation is often seen in warm-blooded animals. Because warm-blooded animals gain energy by burning the nutrients they store in their bodies. They balance body temperatures with this internal energy that emerges. The food sources that decrease with the cooling of the air in the winter are insufficient to balance the body temperatures. Animals that cannot find enough food sources in winter spend this process in hibernation. In this way, they store the energy needed to carry out their vital activities and manage to survive.
