This phenomenon, called sea or ocean foam, is a natural phenomenon observed in many water bodies, for example in seas, oceans, streams. In the structure of natural waters, dissolved salts, proteins, fats, dead algae and many types of organic substances are found. When these organic substances break down, surfactants that can reduce the surface tension of water may occur, similar to those used in detergents. Such chemicals, which pull water molecules on one side while pulling water molecules on the other, usually cover the surface of the water in a thin layer and cause foams when sea waters hit the shore.
