What do you think about Turkey turning iconic Istanbul museum into mosque? Should it have stayed as a museum?

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has ordered the Hagia Sophia museum, one of Istanbul's most famous landmarks, to be converted into a mosque.

Do you think this is an appropriate decision? Why?
